When you enroll in GAP, you’ll automatically receive Auto Deductible Reimbursement (ADR) at no extra cost. Here’s what it includes:

  • Reimburses up to $500 per collision or comprehensive claim
  • Unlimited claims for 3 full years from the date you enroll
  • Applies to any personal-use vehicle you own or lease and insure under your name (borrower or co-borrower)

 Note: ADR does not apply to RVs, motorcycles, boats, or vehicles used for commercial purposes.

GAP is available for most personal-use vehicles, including:

  • Power Sports
  • Watercraft
  • RVs

What You Get with GAP Coverage

  • One-time cost: Just $499 for the entire life of the loan
  • Coverage amount: May pay up to $50,000 toward the remaining loan balance if your vehicle is totaled or stolen
  • Maximum loan amount: Works for loans up to $100,000
  • Maximum Loan term: Covers loans up to 84 months
  • Loan-to-value (LTV): Up to 125% (Based on MSRP or JD Power Clean Retail)
  • Bonus Coverage: Includes Auto Deductible Reimbursement (ADR) — get up to $500 back on your auto insurance deductible per claim, with unlimited claims for 3 years

Certain eligibility requirements, conditions and exclusions may apply. You will receive the contract before you are required to pay for GAP. GAP purchased from state-chartered credit unions in FL, GA, IA, IN, UT, VT, and WI may be with or without a refund provision. Prices of the refundable and non-refundable products are likely to differ. If you purchase a refundable product, you may cancel at any time during the loan and receive a refund of the unearned fee. GAP purchased from state-chartered credit unions in CO, MO or SC may be canceled at any time during the loan and receive a refund of the unearned fee.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) is not intended to replace your automobile insurance. It does not provide bodily injury, property damage, liability, or collision insurance and does not comply with any financial responsibility or any other law mandating motor vehicle insurance. All new or used motor vehicles with a maximum loan of $100,000 are eligible. Recreational Vehicles (RVs including motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV, motor home, classic car, golf cart, watercraft (i.e., boat or jet ski), or similar vehicles) are at a different policy rate and other limits apply.

No private party sales, Carvana purchases, third-party broker or auction services are eligible.
